Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking an experienced 7.5 ton Driver for our client DHL Express at the Leeds site. You will perform pre- and post- trip checks, maintain delivery records, and ensure customer service at delivery and collection points.

Applicants must pass a 7.5 ton driving assessment, provide a 5-year work and address history, and hold a UK driving licence with Category C1, CPC, and digital tachograph card. Employment is on-site with opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Pass a 7.5 ton driving assessment.
• Criminal record check paid by us.
• 5-year work history that can be checked (gaps require references).
• Provide a 5-year address history.
• Have valid photo ID (passport, driving licence or ID card).
• Full UK Driving Licence, Category C1, CPC, and Digital tachograph card.

The Best Connection Group are seeking an experienced 7.5 ton Driver to join our well-established client, DHL Express, at their site based at Leeds.

Responsibilities:

• Performing pre/post vehicle checks and reporting any problems
• Maintaining accurate records and proof of delivery or collection

Requirements:

As we work at an airport regulated by the Civil Aviation Authority, all applicants must:

• Pass a 7.5 ton driving assessment (no minimum years of experience needed)
• Complete a criminal record check (paid for by us)
• Have a 5-year work history that can be checked (gaps over 28 days need a gap reference)
• Provide a 5-year address history
• Have valid photo ID (passport, driving licence or ID card)

Licence/Certification:

• Full UK Driving Licence, [Category C1] (required)

• Digital tachograph card
