Job summary

Backline Logistics is seeking a driver with a 7.5T licence to cover routes from Bristol downwards. The role involves emptying and refilling welfare units, piping water and draining tanks, and signing off each job on a tablet. Mon-Fri, 7am–5pm with occasional nights out due to distance traveled.

CPC and digi Tacho cards are required. Exeter outskirts—own transport advantageous. There may be temp-to-perm opportunities for the right candidate, with wage £15.50–£16.50 depending on experience and

Job description

We are looking for a driver with a 7.5T licence. This is for an ongoing role but could be temp to perm for the right candidate. You will be covering an area from Bristol downwards and the role involves emptying and refilling welfare units. This means piping in water and emptying tanks. No cleaning involved. You will need to operate a tablet to sign off each job. You will be given a list each day so the work is completed in the right order. Monday to Friday, Times 7am - 5pm but you will need to be flexible depending on workload and location. There may be an occasional night out due to distance travelled. Must have current CPC and tacho cards. Own transport an advantage due to location on the outskirts of Exeter. Wage £15.50 - £16.50 dependant on candidate.

Duties

• Safely operate a 7.5T vehicle to various locations.

• Conduct regular inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any mechanical issues as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with staff and customers .
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption.
