Job summary

Driver Hire Southampton is seeking a 7.5T driver for a Monday to Friday role on the South Coast. The position runs for 12 weeks with a view to permanent placement for the right candidate, loading and delivering waste, visiting client sites, and ensuring safe handling of loads.

You will possess a full UK 7.5T licence, CPC and Digi Tacho, and demonstrate excellent customer service and communication. The job involves manual handling and a proactive approach to service improvements, with onsite

Qualifications

• Full UK 7.5T driving licence.
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card.
• Fantastic customer service.
• Great communication and happy to engage with customers.
• Hands on and have great attention to detail.
• Have a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for service enhancements.
• Happy performing manual handling duties.

Responsibilities

• Attend 9-12 visits per day to client sites.
• Load and unload drums and containers onto and from your vehicle.
• Drive a 7.5T vehicle to locations around the South Coast.
• Remove and exchange non low hazardous waste.
