Job summary

Essential Workforce Limited in Plymouth is recruiting reliable 7.5T Multi-Drop Delivery Drivers to join a well-established distribution and delivery operation. This role involves delivering to residential customers and working with a drivers mate.

You will safely operate a 7.5T vehicle, complete daily routes, provide excellent customer service, and ensure accurate paperwork and vehicle checks. Weekly pay, long-term work, and progression opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid 7.5T (C1) driving licence.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Physically fit for heavy lifting and unloading.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 7.5T vehicle to complete daily routes.
• Deliver goods to residential customers with a driver’s mate.
• Provide quality customer service at every stop.
• Load and unload deliveries with care.
• Complete paperwork and digital logs on time.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report issues promptly.
• Comply with driving laws, regulations and company policies.

Essential Workforce are currently recruiting reliable 7.5T Multi-Drop Delivery Drivers to join the team of a well-established distribution and delivery company based in Plymouth.

Pay rate: £16.00ph (£22.00 overtime rate 45hrs+)

If you're customer-focused, safety-conscious, and confident navigating multi-drop routes, we want to hear from you.

Expected shift pattern/hours:

• 5 days on 3 days off
• 7am - finish (usually between 5pm - 7pm)
• Two 30 minute breaks both morning and afternoon
• Site does operate 7 days per week and you would therefore be required to work across some weekends as per your rota.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Safely operate a 7.5T vehicle to complete daily delivery routes
• Deliver goods to residential customers with the support of a drivers mate
• Providing quality customer service
• Load and unload deliveries with care and accuracy
• Provide excellent customer service at every stop
• Complete paperwork and digital logs accurately and on time
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly
• Comply with all driving laws, regulations, and company policies

What We're Looking For:

• Valid 7.5T (C1) driving licence
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous experience in a multi-drop delivery role is desired but not essential
• Strong knowledge of road safety and delivery best practices
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude
• Physically fit and capable of loading/unloading goods
