Job summary

Flexible People Ltd in Moss End is recruiting 7.5t Home delivery drivers to join a well-known client. You will deliver TVs, furniture and white goods to homes with a Driver's Mate, ensuring safe handling and room-of-choice delivery. After 12 weeks, the role may become permanent with excellent benefits.

Shifts start 06:00, 9–11 hours, 5–6 days a week, with weekend work. Requires a valid UK Licence, CPC and Digitacho; drug tests may be conducted. On-site training and a thorough induction follow.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK driving licence, CPC and Digitacho.
• Physical strength to lift heavy goods.
• No more than 6 points and no DD/DR/ NI convictions.
• Full-time role with progression after 12 weeks to permanent contract.

Responsibilities

• Deliver large goods to residential properties with a Driver's Mate.
• Work with a 5- or 6-day rota; shifts start at 06:00, lasting ~9–11 hours.
• Carry out on-site training, plus highway code/tacho assessments.

Job description

Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting 7.5t Home delivery drivers for a well known client of ours, based in Moss End.This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a multi-national organization, with the potential for growth and opportunities.This role involves working with a Drivers Mate to deliver large goods to residential properties. The type of goods you will be delivering are TV's, flat pack furniture, gym equipment, white goods, sofas, beds etc.Due to the weight of the products you are delivering you MUST be physically fit.The company offer the customer a 'room of choice' delivery, you will be fully trained on how to do this. Upon successful application, all new drivers are subject to a driving assessment and multiple choice highway code/tacho exam. This will then be followed the next day with a subsequent induction day. The company operate 7 days a week, you will be offered a 5 or 6 day rota. Weekend work will be involved. Shift timings are 06.00 start, shifts last roughly 9-11 hours. Pay rate - £17.15 per hour including holiday pay. Overtime rate - (After 48 hours) - £22.97 per hour.

After 12 weeks, you can be offered a contract directly with the company. Once you become a full time member of staff, you will be entitled to an award-winning range of benefits including

Please note that drug tests can be carried out at anytime, at the clients discretion. A drug test will also be carried out at assessment.
