Job summary

Flexible People Ltd are recruiting 7.5t Home Delivery Drivers for a well-known client in Eastleigh/Southampton. You will work with a Driver’s Mate to deliver large items to residential properties, including flat-pack furniture, gym equipment and white goods.

This is a physically demanding role requiring fitness, a valid UK driving licence (7.5t), CPC and Digital Tachograph card, and a clean licence. Training, induction and assessments are provided, with shifts running seven days a week.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK driving licence for 7.5t
• Must hold a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• No more than 6 points on licence; no DD/DR/IN endorsements

Responsibilities

• Deliver large items to residential properties with a Driver’s Mate
• Handle deliveries of flat-pack furniture, gym equipment, and white goods

7.5 Tonne Home Delivery Driver Eastleigh / Southampton

£17.15 per hour (inclusive of holiday) | Overtime £22.97 per hour (After 48 hours)

Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting 7.5t Home Delivery Drivers for a well-known, multi-national client based in Eastleigh, Southampton. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable company offering long-term work, stability, and potential career progression.

The Role

You will work alongside a Drivers Mate, delivering large items to residential properties. Products include:

• Flat-pack furniture

• Gym equipment

• White goods

This is a physically demanding role, and candidates must be fit and comfortable with heavy lifting.

The company offers a room of choice delivery service. Full training will be provided to ensure deliveries are completed safely and professionally.

Working Hours & Shifts

• The operation runs 7 days a week

• 56 shifts per week on a rotating rota

• Weekend work is required

• Start time: 06:00

• Shift length: approximately 811 hours

Assessments & Training

Successful applicants will be required to:

• Pass a driving assessment

• Complete a multiple-choice Highway Code and tacho test

• Attend a mandatory induction day (following the assessment)

Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must:

• Hold a valid UK driving licence (7.5t)

• Have a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card

• Have no more than 6 points on your licence

• Have no DD, DR, or IN endorsements

• Be able to reliably commute to Eastleigh / Southampton
