Job summary

Pertemps Milton Keynes is seeking an experienced 7.5 Tonne Home Delivery Driver in Bedford. You will deliver larger items like furniture and white goods directly to customers’ homes. The role is physically demanding, fast-paced, and involves 35–40 deliveries per day with a Monday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday schedule.

Expect 9–12 hour shifts with weekly pay. Immediate starts available and ongoing full-time work.

What you'll be doing

We're recruiting experienced 7.5 Tonne Home Delivery Drivers to join a busy and professional home delivery operation based in Bedford.

This isn't your typical parcel delivery role. You'll be delivering larger household items, including furniture and white goods, directly to customers' homes. The role is physically demanding, fast-paced, and ideal for drivers who enjoy providing excellent customer service while staying active throughout the day.

With around 35-40 deliveries per shift, you'll need to be organised, efficient, and committed to delivering a first-class customer experience.

Essential Requirements

• Valid UK C1 (7.5 Tonne) Licence
• Valid CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 12 months' recent 7.5 tonne driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence
• No DD, DR, CD, IN or TT endorsements
• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations
• Physically fit and comfortable with the manual handling associated with furniture and white goods deliveries
• Excellent customer service skills and a professional attitude
• Reliable, punctual and able to work in a fast-paced environment
