Training is provided, with overtime opportunities and a genuine path to permanent employment for high performers. Role involves two-person delivery teams, multi-drop routes and strict adherence to safety and tachograph regulations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK Driving Licence (C1), CPC qualification and a Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum of 6 months driving experience required.
• Willingness to undertake manual handling.
• Flexible to weekends and overtime as needed.
• DBS check may be required by the client.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries to customers' homes.
• Deliver heavy goods and household appliances.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report defects.
• Maintain accurate Digital Tachograph records and delivery paperwork.
• Provide professional customer service at each delivery.
• Follow all road transport laws and company procedures.

Rapier Employment seeks 7.5 Tonne Drivers in Hoddesdon for ongoing, full-time work with a well-established logistics client. Pay is £19.56 per hour, inclusive of LLA, with weekly wages. Shifts run Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday, starting from 06:00. Duties involve multi-drop deliveries and vehicle checks. Applicants need a valid category C1 licence, CPC and digital tachograph card, plus prior experience. Immediate starts are available, alongside full training, a modern fleet, overtime and genuine temp-to-perm prospects for those who perform well.

The Role

As a 7.5 Tonne Driver you will work alongside a Driver's Mate to complete multi-drop home deliveries.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Completing multi-drop home deliveries to customers' homes
• Delivering heavy goods and household appliances
• Carrying out manual handling and heavy lifting as part of a two-person team
• Planning delivery routes and completing deliveries efficiently
• Completing daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects
• Maintaining accurate Digital Tachograph records and delivery paperwork
• Providing professional and friendly customer service at each delivery
• Following all road transport legislation and company procedures

Shift Pattern

You will be required to work one of the following shift patterns:

• Sunday to Thursday
• Tuesday to Saturday

Start times are from 06:00. Overtime may also be available.

What We’re Looking For

To be considered for this 7.5 Tonne Driver position, you will need:

• A valid UK Driving Licence
• A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 6 months driving experience
• A flexible approach to weekend working
• Ability to undertake manual handling and heavy lifting
• A reliable, professional and punctual attitude
• Willingness to undergo a Basic DBS check
