Job summary

Driver Hire are currently recruiting for an experienced 7.5 Tonne driver to join a busy client based in Birmingham (Erdington).

This temp role offers regular, ongoing work with a clear path to permanent employment via a temp-to-perm arrangement for the right driver. Expect early starts and deliver building supplies to sites, with some handballing.

You will work Monday to Friday, with a minimum of 8 paid hours per shift at £15.40 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph are required.
• Previous 7.5T driving experience is essential.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Physically fit.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries on behalf of the client as a Cat C1 (7.5t) driver.
• Perform some handballing and manual handling of goods.
• Start early each day and maintain professional conduct with sites.

Driver Hire are currently recruiting for an experienced 7.5 Tonne driver to join a busy and well-established client based in Birmingham (Erdington).

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable 7.5T Driver looking for regular, ongoing work with the opportunity to secure a permanent position. The role starts on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to transfer to the client on a temp-to-perm basis for the right driver.

You will be working as a Cat C1 Driver (7.5t), completing deliveries on behalf of our client. You will need to be reliable, professional and comfortable with an early start. The job will require some handballing as you will be delivering building supplies to mainly building sites.
