Position: 7.5 Tonne Driver

Salary: £38,561.95 + Overtime

Location: Kettering (NN14 1UB)

Shift patterns: Sunday-Thursday. Day time hours (Start time of 06:00am)

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Work Sunday-Thursday with a 06:00am start time
• Complete multi drop delivery of heavy/white goods/home goods to customers homes (HEAVY LIFTING WILL BE REQUIRED)
• Work as part of a 2 person crew (Driver's mate)
• Wets installations will be required at customers' homes (training will be provided)
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Previous professional driving experience is essential
• Hold a valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Excellent communication skills and able to provide a 1st class customer experience
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring adherence to parking, speed and road signage
• Work safely within the Health and safety environmental guidelines, and ensure all vehicle checks are carried out prior to commencement of work
• Are flexible in approach to work, and work effectively as part of a team, providing support in resolving problems and have a can do, right first time and passionate approach
• Work within all legal parameters of driver's hours and working time directive legislation, being fully compliant with tachograph and break requirements
• Have basic mechanical understanding would be beneficial, but not essential
