Qualifications

• Mindestens 24 Monate Erfahrung im Fahren von C1-Fahrzeugen in städtischen Gebieten.
• Gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift sind erforderlich.

Responsibilities

• Führen von 7.5-Tonnen-Fahrzeugen zu verschiedenen Lieferstandorten.
• Durchführung von Fahrzeuginspektionen vor und nach der Fahrt.

Job description

Week 1: Monday - Friday : START TIMES 07:00 or 11:00

Week 2: Monday - Saturday: START TIMES 07:00 or 11:00

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Derby, Staffordshire.

Rates of Pay:

• Basic: £14.00 per hour
• Saturday: £21.00 per hour
• Sunday: £28.00 per hour

Day to Day Duties:

Your duties as a 7.5 Tonne Driver will involve but not be limited to:

• Store collections and then delivering to residential addresses
• Operate and drive various 7.5 Tonne vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
• Assist with loading and unloading of cargo as needed

As a 7.5 Tonne Driver you will need to:

• Hold a valid UK Category C1 Licence
• Have a minimum of 24 months experience driving C1 vehicles round urban areas
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
• Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
• Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
• Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
• Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial
• Previous experience in multi-drop experience will be beneficial

Training:

• Driver's Assessment will have to be completed
• After successful Assessment, there will be a one day paid induction
• SSOW prior to starting
• Bridge strike training prior to starting
