Job summary

Class 1 Personnel are recruiting a 7.5 tonne Driver for a major logistics company based in Kent, Aylesford/Maidstone ME20 7WT. The role involves delivering from airport to warehouse and depot-to-depot or to households, following health and safety guidelines.

Shifts run 08:30 – 18:30 with hourly pay of £15.05. Applicants should hold a Full UK Licence for 7.5t, have at least 1 year driving experience, max 6 points, and be prepared for a UK criminal background check.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence for 7.5 tonne vehicle.
• At least 1 year of driving experience.
• Max 6 penalty points on licence; no DD/DR convictions.
• Five years of verifiable work history.
• Willingness to undergo a UK criminal background check.
• Good customer-facing skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily vehicle safety checks.
• Plan routes to ensure timely deliveries.
• Deliver and collect parcels to/from homes, businesses, and depots.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Accurately use and maintain your digital tachograph.
• Complete collections and deliveries within shift windows.

Class 1 Personnel are currently recruiting 7.5 tonne Driver for one of the largest Logistics companies based at Kent Aylesford Maidstone ME20 7WT.

Role mainly consists of delivering goods directly from the airport to warehouse, Depot to Depot or depot to households in the safest way following all Health and Safety guidelines.

Logistics Distribution and supply chain.

Key Duties:

• Perform daily vehicle safety checks
• Efficiently plan routes for timely deliveries
• Deliver and collect parcels to/from homes, businesses, and depot locations
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
• Accurately use and maintain your digital tachograph
• Ensure all collections and deliveries are completed within the shift window

Candidate Requirements:

• Full UK Licence(7.5 tonne Driver)
• A minimum of 1 years driving experience
• Maximum 6 points on your licence - no DD/DR convictions
• 5 years of verifiable work history
• Willingness to undergo a UK criminal background check
• Strong attention to detail and a dependable, "can do" attitude
• Good customer-facing skills and ability to work independently

Shift time:

• 08:30 - 18:30.

Pay Rates (Hourly):

• Rate:15.05 ph
