Job summary

Driver Hire Ashford is seeking a reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver (C1) for regular Saturday work in Ashford. You’ll join a two-person delivery crew, delivering home improvement and DIY goods to residential addresses, with start times at 07:00 or 11:00.

This role offers weekend premium pay (£21.65–£24.26 per hour PAYE), minimum 8 hours per shift, weekly PAYE on Fridays, and benefits including a company pension and free on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Valid Category C1 (7.5 Tonne) licence.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 60 days' commercial driving experience within the last 6 months.
• Positive attitude with excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Looking to boost your earnings at the weekend? Driver Hire Ashford is recruiting reliable and customer-focused 7.5 Tonne Drivers (C1) for regular Saturday work based in Ashford.

You’ll be working with a leading home improvement and DIY retailer, delivering a wide range of products including furniture, kitchens, bathrooms, garden equipment, decorating supplies, tools and building materials.

Working as part of a two-person delivery crew, you’ll complete residential deliveries while providing excellent customer service throughout the day.

Your Role

• Regular Saturday work with premium weekend pay rates


• Deliver home improvement, DIY and household products to residential addresses


• Work as part of a professional two-person delivery team


• Complete vehicle checks and delivery paperwork


• Ensure goods are delivered safely and efficiently

What You’ll Need

• Valid Category C1 (7.5 Tonne) licence
