Job summary

Intrepid Global Limited in Manchester is seeking a reliable 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver to join our distribution team. You will load and unload heavy items and deliver to customer premises, while keeping the vehicle safe and clean.

A valid UK driving licence with C1, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are essential. This full-time role operates 07:00-19:00 on a 4-on 4-off rota, paying £19.47 per hour including holiday pay. Experience with route planning and customer service is valued.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with 7.5 Tonne entitlement (C1)
• Driver CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph Driver Card
• Clean driving record
• Knowledge of UK road safety regulations and drivers' hours
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, independent
• Physically fit to lift and move heavy items (up to 25 kg)

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 7.5 tonne delivery vehicle in line with UK laws and company policies
• Complete scheduled deliveries and collections on time
• Load and unload goods safely
• Carry heavy items to customer premises as needed
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report defects
• Plan routes to maximise efficiency
• Provide professional customer service
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and security
• Follow health and safety procedures including manual handling
• Ensure goods are secured during transport
• Adhere to drivers' hours and tachograph rules
