Job summary

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with entitlement for 7.5t (C1).
• Driver CPC qualification (where required).
• Digital Tachograph Driver Card (where required).
• Clean or acceptable driving record.
• Knowledge of UK road safety and drivers' hours rules.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 7.5 tonne delivery vehicle in line with UK laws and policies.
• Complete scheduled deliveries and collections on time and efficiently.
• Load and unload goods and handle items safely.
• Deliver to customer premises and provide friendly service.
• Carry heavy/bulky items with appropriate lifting methods.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report issues.
• Plan routes to maximise efficiency and minimise delays.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and security.
