What does the role involve?

• Delivering and installing furniture in customers’ homes
• Working through a delivery schedule with the support of your crew mate
• Working as part of a wider distribution centre team helping to load and unload furniture onto our vehicles
• Providing a brilliant service to our customers and encouraging their feedback
• Carrying out safety checks and driving safely to protect the team and customers
• Working 44 hours over 4 days with every Sunday off; flexibility required in peak periods
• Heavy lifting

Who are we looking for?

• Previous experience within a driving role
• Category C1 vehicle licence
• Driver digital tachograph card
• Relevant drivers CPC qualification (certificate of professional competence)
• Knowledge and understanding of safety requirements for operating a vehicle and familiarity with tacographs
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow process and procedures
• Strives to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction
• Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling due to heavy lifting
• Hard working and a team player
• Experience in a warehouse environment (desirable)
