Job summary

poltronesofà UK is seeking a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver for our Bridgend Distribution Centre to join a supportive team delivering and installing furniture at customers’ homes.

You will need a Category C1 licence, a driver tachograph card and CPC qualification. The role involves heavy lifting, loads of customer service, and a 44-hour week over four days with Sundays off.

Salary is £32,993 per year with a comprehensive benefits package.

What’s the opportunity?

Previous furniture delivery experience can be a benefit, but we find personality and the ability to learn new skills more important.

What does the role involve?

• Delivering and installing furniture in customers’ homes
• Working through a delivery schedule with the support of your crew mate
• Work as part of a wider distribution centre team in helping to load and unload furniture onto our vehicles
• Providing a brilliant service to our customers and encouraging their feedback
• Making sure the team is safe by carrying out checks and driving safely
• Work 44 hours over 4 days with every Sunday off. Flexibility would be required in peak periods

Who are we looking for?

• Previous experience within a driving role
