Job summary

Pure Staff are recruiting experienced 7.5 Tonne Day Drivers for a well-established automotive distribution operation in the Portbury/Avonmouth area. This is long-term ongoing work with regular shifts, weekly pay, and a route-focused role delivering automotive parts with accuracy and reliability.

You will hold a Category C1 licence, Driver CPC, and tachograph card, with experience in loading/unloading and strict compliance with hours rules. A positive, professional attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Category C1 (7.5 Tonne) Driving Licence is required.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card is required.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card is required.
• Previous commercial driving experience preferred.
• Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations.
• Ability to complete physically demanding deliveries and heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Delivering automotive parts to commercial customers throughout the region.
• Carrying out approximately 4 to 6 deliveries per shift.
• Occasional collections where required.
• Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently.
• Completing handball and heavy lifting duties.
• Using electronic POD devices to complete delivery paperwork.
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport regulations.
