Job summary

DPD UK is seeking a reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our Raunds team, delivering for the UK's green logistics leader. You’ll own a designated local route, handling 40–50 stops daily with Saturn handheld devices guiding progress.

This role offers a stable, permanent contract, Monday–Friday shifts from 08:00 to 16:45, with a pay rate of £16.05 per hour and opportunities for progression within a sustainability-driven company that values work-life balance and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation.
• Ideally 6 months recent driving experience with 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Physically active and able to handle lifting in a fast-paced delivery role.

You aren’t just moving boxes; you’re the final boss of the delivery game, ensuring every parcel hits its destination with 10/10 service. With around 40 - 50 stops a day, you’ll be the ultimate problem-solver, navigating your community and making life easier for our customers. Your role is vital in providing a service that genuinely makes a difference to our customers.

• Drive the Vibe: Get behind the wheel of a 7.5 Tonne vehicle. You’ll be cruising local routes, keeping it safe, professional, and efficient.
• Master the Tech: No paper maps here. You’ll use our industry-leading Saturn handheld devices. It’s basically your mission control for tracking progress, managing deliveries, and staying ahead of the game.
• The Main Character Energy: You’re the friendly face our customers see every day. Whether it’s a quick "hello" or a helpful drop-off, your energy defines the DPD experience.
• The Hustle: You’ll be loading and unloading parcels, using high-end gear like sack barrows and hand trucks to handle the heavy lifting safely. Think of it as a paid workout while you’re on the move.
