Job summary

DPD UK Bridgwater is seeking a reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team. You’ll manage a designated route with roughly 40 stops and act as the face of DPD, using Saturn handheld devices to track deliveries and progress.

This permanent, 40-hour role runs Monday to Friday with a 07:30 to 18:00 shift, reflecting our commitment to safety, customer service and sustainability in green logistics.

Qualifications

• A valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation.
• At least 1 year of experience handling 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Physically active and comfortable with lifting.
• Professional, approachable and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle on local routes safely.
• Use Saturn handheld devices to manage deliveries and track progress.
• Be the friendly face customers see daily.
• Load/unload parcels using provided equipment.

• Drive: Safely operate a 7.5 Tonne vehicle across local routes.
• Tech: Use our industry-leading handheld Saturn devices to manage deliveries and track progress.

• Move: Load / unload parcels using provided equipment, such as a sack barrow / hand truck, to safely handle heavier items
