Job summary

DPD Group in Peterborough is seeking a reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our delivery team. You will own a local route with around 40–50 stops daily, delivering with care and professionalism using Saturn handheld devices.

We value autonomy and tech‑savvy drivers. The role runs Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:45, with pay at £16.05 per hour plus enhanced overtime; we offer a career path within a growing green logistics company and a range of wellbeing and retail perks.

Qualifications

• Valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC required.
• Ideally 6 months experience driving 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Physically active and comfortable with lifting.

The Role

• Drive the Vibe: Get behind the wheel of a 7.5 Tonne vehicle. You'll be cruising local routes, keeping it safe, professional, and efficient.
• Master the Tech: No paper maps here. You'll use our industry-leading Saturn handheld devices. It's basically your mission control for tracking progress, managing deliveries, and staying ahead of the game.
• The Main Character Energy: You're the friendly face our customers see every day. Whether it's a quick "hello" or a helpful drop‑off, your energy defines the DPD experience.
• The Hustle: You'll be loading and unloading parcels, using high-end gear like sack barrows and hand trucks to handle the heavy lifting safely. Think of it as a paid workout while you're on the move.
