Job summary

A leading upholstery retailer in the UK is seeking a Co-Driver to join their team. This role involves customer deliveries, manual handling, and assisting in warehouse operations. About The Role:

As a Co-Driver you will have various roles, you will be working as part of a 2-man team however, not every day will be the same and you will be required to do more manual handling work than co-driving.

Your average day will consist of up to 15 Customer deliveries that include installing the products in our customers’ homes; there will be occasions throughout the year that involve store change and this in particular can be a very demanding day. Please be advised the role is co-driving and the rest is manual handling.

About you:

• Hard working – You won’t mind working late and helping out other team members.
• Excellent customer service skills – You will be entering our customer’s homes and you will be the last person from dfs our customer will see.
• More than capable of manual handling – our customers’ homes are not just houses you may be required to carry our products up various flights of stairs and or take them apart.
• Happy to get stuck in with other tasks that might not be your usual role – You will be required to work in the warehouse once your driving role is completed and if you arrive back early.
• Happy to work overtime and appreciates that not every day you will finish on time.

Working Hours:

• 44 hours per week
• Time 1/3 after 44 hours
• Monday - Saturday & Tuesday - Friday
