The Sofa Delivery Company operates with a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern, typically 7am – 7pm, offering a balance that supports time to relax, recharge, and enjoy life outside of work. As a Driver, you will delight customers at the final stage of their journey, delivering furniture to a range of homes with a smile and professionalism.

What you’ll be doing and the requirements below show what the role involves and what we’re looking for.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Complete all deliveries into customers’ homes in a safe and professional manner.
• Communicate effectively with the customer prior to delivery to confirm appointment timing and arrival.
• Deliver furniture to the room requested by the customer and remove packaging or waste where appropriate.
• Represent The Sofa Delivery Company values and those of our brand partners in everything you do.
• Work with your team and senior managers to provide feedback and continually improve service standards.
• Carry out daily inspections of allocated vehicles and equipment, informing the line manager of any defects.
• Comply with driving laws and company policies and procedures.
