Job summary

GI Group are recruiting for 7.5T Drivers for a large client in York. The role involves daily deliveries and collections to customers and depots, with 1 year of 7.5T experience preferred and valid CPC and Tachograph qualifications. Monday to Friday shifts with occasional weekends and a PAYE pay rate including holiday pay.

Job description

GI Group are currently recruiting multiple 7.5T Drivers for our internationally known client in York (YO30). This company provides courier services worldwide, focusing on the express road-based market and offering services such as delivery, freight forwarding, and logistics.

Drivers shifts and Pay:

• Monday to Friday - occasional weekends offered
• Hours of Work: 09:00am

*Please note that this pay rate is PAYE and includes advanced holiday pay

7.5T Driver main duties will include:

• Making deliveries/collections each day to customers and depots
• Manual handling is involved while loading and unloading
• Handling device to confirm delivery status and communicate with the depot
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

Driver requirements:

• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Valid and in date Tachograph and CPC qualifications
• At least 1yr experience with 7.5T roles
