Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting a 7.5 Tonne Driver to work on behalf of Parcelforce Worldwide in the Rotherham area. The role suits reliable drivers seeking ongoing temporary work with a well-known national delivery company.

You will manage deliveries and customer service on routes, with a 10am–6pm shift, Mon-Fri, up to 35 hours per week. A valid tachograph card and DBS check are required.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with category C1 entitlement (7.5T) and no more than 6 points.
• Previous experience driving a 7.5T vehicle is essential.
• Good knowledge of York and surrounding areas.
• Physically fit with ability to lift parcels up to 20kg.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Ability to pass a DBS (criminal background) check.
• You will also need to provide a Valid Tachograph card.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and secure all items on your route in line with Royal Mail standards.
• Handle and deliver election materials and other items as required.
• Provide dependable customer service while driving and coordinating routes.
• Maintain vehicle hygiene and report any issues promptly.
• Adhere to safety, health, and company policies.
