Job summary

Group 1 Automotive is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician (Mechanic) in Essex. You will perform high‑quality maintenance and repairs to BMW vehicles, follow factory standards, and communicate clearly with customers and the service team.

With a guaranteed £60,000 OTE and welcome bonuses totalling £2,500, you’ll join a large, supportive network offering generous leave, pensions, discounts, and development opportunities. A UK driving licence and MOT knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualification.
MOT licence is advantageous but not essential.
Must hold a valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality vehicle maintenance and repairs following manufacturer standards.
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle components to assess wear or replacement needs.
Provide expert technical advice to customers with clear communication.
Maintain exceptional customer service standards to drive repeat business.
Collaborate with service reception and workshop control for smooth workflow.
Support fellow technicians and promote teamwork and knowledge sharing.
