Job summary

Group 1 Automotive is hiring a Senior Vehicle Technician (Mechanic) for BMW Farnborough. £60,000 OTE with welcome bonus up to £2,500 for eligible technicians. Training at top facilities and a supportive team.

You will perform high-quality maintenance and repairs, inspect components, and provide clear advice to customers while upholding outstanding service standards. NVQ3 or equivalent and UK driving licence required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualification.
• Experienced Level 2 qualified technicians with a dealership background encouraged.
• Thorough understanding of vehicle safety standards and guidelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work.
• Proven ability to meet efficiency targets while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate and contribute positively within a team environment.
• A current valid MOT licence is advantageous but not essential.
• Must hold a valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality vehicle maintenance and repairs following manufacturer standards.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle components for wear or damage.
• Provide expert technical advice to customers with clear communication.
• Maintain exceptional customer service standards and drive repeat business.
• Collaborate with service reception and workshop control for smooth workflow.
• Offer support and guidance to fellow Technicians in the workshop.
