Job Description:

This highly regarded law firm is currently recruiting a Practice Development Lawyer to join its Real Estate practice in Glasgow or Edinburgh. The team offers a full range of real estate services, including joint ventures, acquisitions and disposals, development, and property litigation.

The team is keen to speak with candidates with at least 5 years PQE, ideally with Real Estate experience, who have been active creators and contributors of legal know-how materials and client service. Candidates should have substantial knowledge of the Real Estate sector, strong research abilities, and an understanding of the practical implications of legal changes.

The role focuses on managing knowledge, training, and current awareness within the Scottish Real Estate team. Responsibilities include updating and maintaining the precedent bank, thought leadership, working on innovation projects, and the following:

• Planning and managing the delivery of the CPD program and trainee training.
• Supporting fee-earning colleagues with transactional points of law and practice.
• Assisting with the training and development of paralegals.
