Job summary

Recruitable Staffing Solutions are recruiting an experienced 5-Axis Laser Operator / Setter for our Coventry-based client. The role is permanent and full-time, located in Coventry, with a pay rate of £17.34 per hour.

Duties include setting and operating 5-axis laser machinery, modifying programs, and ensuring quality through inspections. Ideal candidates will have 5-axis laser setting/operating experience, ability to modify programs, and strong fault-finding and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Previous 5-axis laser setting and operating experience
• Ability to make basic program modifications
• Experience completing first-off inspections
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Set and operate 5-axis laser machinery
• Modify offline-created programs at the machine
• Use the machine screen or hand teach box
• Complete first-off inspection and sign-off
• Re-datum the machine and troubleshoot faults
• Carry out basic machine checks and maintenance
• Work to engineering drawings and quality standards
