Job summary

Workshop Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator based in Eastleigh. You will set, program and run 4- and 5-axis machining centres and write or modify Fanuc and Haas programs to precise specifications.

You will inspect your own work using precision measuring equipment, maintain tool wear offsets, and contribute to continuous improvement within a supportive manufacturing team. A 4-day week and pension benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator.
• 5-axis machining experience.
• Ability to write and modify Fanuc and Haas programs.
• CAD/CAM experience is advantageous.
• Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO9001 quality standards.
• Proficient with precision inspection equipment.
• Eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Set, program and operate 4 and 5 axis CNC machining centres.
• Write, edit and optimise Fanuc and Haas programs.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to produce components to specification.
• Inspect your own work using micrometers, verniers and other measuring equipment.
• Adjust wear offsets to maintain quality and cycle times.
• Deburr and assemble components where required.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
• Support continuous improvement and work collaboratively with colleagues.
