Job summary

Resourcing Global Solutions is seeking a 5 Axis CNC Operator for nights (10pm-6am) in Hayes. You will operate 5 axis Kitamura CNC machining centres with Fanuc controls on a busy production line, reading engineering drawings and ensuring high-quality components are produced.

The role requires prior CNC experience in a manufacturing setting, with preference for 4/5 axis machinery and proficiency with measuring tools such as verniers and micrometers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating CNC machinery in manufacturing/engineering.
• Experience with 4-axis or 5-axis CNC machines preferred.
• Fanuc controls experience beneficial.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Experience using measuring equipment such as verniers and micrometers.
• Good attention to detail and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate 5 Axis Kitamura CNC machining centres.
• Work with Fanuc control systems.
• Load and unload components and tooling.
• Monitor machining operations and ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Read and work from engineering drawings and production documentation.
• Carry out basic quality inspections using measuring equipment.
• Maintain machine cleanliness and good housekeeping standards.
• Support production and manufacturing operations as required.
• Follow company health & safety procedures at all times.

We are currently recruiting for a 5 Axis CNC Operator to join a well-established manufacturing and precision engineering company based in Hayes.

This role involves operating 5 Axis Kitamura CNC machining centres with Fanuc controls within a busy production environment, manufacturing high-quality engineered components.

The company is looking for someone with previous CNC machining experience who is confident operating CNC machinery and working from engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate 5 Axis Kitamura CNC machining centres
• Work with Fanuc control systems
• Load and unload components and tooling
• Monitor machining operations and ensure quality standards are maintained
• Read and work from engineering drawings and production documentation
