Job summary

The Workshop is seeking an experienced Weekend 5 Axis CNC Machinist for a weekend-based role in Bognor Regis. You will set up, operate and program 5-axis machines to produce high-precision epoxy/PU patterns and carbon components, reading drawings and following SOPs.

This permanent position offers a 36 or 40-hour week over Friday to Sunday with a £19–£23 per hour rate, a £5 per hour shift allowance and overtime paid at time and a half. Benefits include 20 to 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with 5-axis machining.
• Confident setting, operating and programming CNC machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Commitment to safe working practices.
• Flexibility to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Machine epoxy/PU patterns, fixtures and carbon components.
• Program and edit CNC code for complex components.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Inspect finished components to ensure quality standards.

• Maintain accurate production and tooling records.

Workshop Recruitment is recruiting for a well-established engineering manufacturer producing high-performance composite components for advanced industries. This Weekend 5 Axis CNC Machinist role offers a flexible 36 or 40-hour working week across Friday to Sunday, with a strong hourly rate, shift allowance and overtime opportunities.
