Building a sustainable tomorrow

KierBAM is a Joint Venture (JV) partnership between Kier and BAM. We are currently delivering a redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site in Plymouth and are seeking an experienced 4D BIM Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a drive to pursue continued education in Digital Construction Technologies, experienced in 3D and 4D modelling, and capable of collaborating with planners and designers to bring projects to life. Responsibilities include model validation, visualizations, and compliance with standards.

Your work environment

• BAM offers a flexible working policy
• Hybrid working model: 3 days in the office and 2 days remote

Your mission

As a 4D BIM Coordinator, your duties will include:

• Serving as a subject matter expert for digital construction tools and providing technical support
• Communicating effectively with stakeholders and senior management to optimize digital integration
• Representing the company at meetings
• Ensuring modelling complies with ISO 19650, BAM, and CAD standards
• Producing visualizations for decision-making and onsite construction
• Becoming the authority on Synchro 4D projects
• Training and assisting digital technicians and modellers
• Managing hardware and software needs in collaboration with the BIM Lead
• Maintaining safety and environmental standards

Who are we looking for?

• Effective team collaborator with strong communication skills
• Understanding of civil/structural design principles
• Interest in 3D-4D modelling and immersive visualization
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Synchro 4D pro
• High-level visualization skills
• Knowledge of model coding for planning
• Experience with 3Ds Max and video editing is beneficial but not essential
• Educational background in Construction or related fields
• Knowledge of ISO 19650
