MorePeople are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a major food manufacturing operation in Wrexham. You’ll respond to breakdowns, carry out planned and preventative maintenance, and help improve reliability on production equipment. The role operates on a 4-on 4-off pattern with days and nights.

Offering a 51,000 salary plus a comprehensive benefits package including BUPA healthcare, pension contributions, onsite parking, EV charging, discounts and a company shop.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer.
• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills.
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG or similar production environments.
• Proactive approach to planned and reactive maintenance.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team.
• Relevant engineering qualifications or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to breakdowns and fix equipment.
• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance.
• Improve reliability and performance of production equipment.
• Work within a 4-on 4-off shift pattern (7am-7pm / 7pm-7am).
