Job summary

St Margaret's Primary Academy is seeking an enthusiastic HLTA/LSA to support pupils across the school. The role involves covering classes with appropriate planning and resourcing, maintaining strong relationships with pupils, parents and professionals, and contributing to positive learning outcomes.

The successful candidate will have Level 3 qualifications, Level 2 English and Maths, and prior school experience. A commitment to safeguarding and high standards of English are essential.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or above is required.
• Level 2 English and Level 2 Maths are required.
• Experience in a school setting is preferred.
• Good written and spoken English with a sound understanding of Maths.

Responsibilities

• Cover classes using appropriate planning and resourcing.
• Support learning and contribute to learning progress for pupils.
• Engage with parents/carers and professionals to secure positive outcomes for children.
• Commit to safeguarding and promote the welfare of all pupils.
