Job summary

Yamazaki Mazak in Worcester is looking for a CNC 4/5 Axis Milling Programmer/Setter/Operator for a double day shift. The role involves programming, setting and operating Mazak 4- and 5-axis centres to produce precision components, using Mazatrol controls and maintaining a safe, collaborative production floor.

Qualifications

• Solid experience setting and operating CNC machining centres.
• Experience using CNC controls safely and effectively.
• Experience in a busy manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate Mazak 4- and 5-axis machining centres.
• Produce a range of highly toleranced components for Mazak CNC machines.
• Use Mazatrol controls to program, edit and improve components.
• Work as part of a busy manufacturing team.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and procedures.
• Support Kaizen and health & safety improvements.
