We are recruiting for three Lead Reliability Engineers to lead and manage reliability teams in Kent, Sussex, and Hampshire. The role involves creating and implementing strategies to ensure high standards of asset maintenance, aiming to increase reliability and reduce downtime.
You will manage up to four direct reports, coaching and developing team members with relevant training in reliability engineering, maintenance techniques, and best practices for sustainable asset management.
Your responsibilities include overseeing the implementation of reliability strategies (RCM, PM, CBM), collaborating with maintenance and operational managers to ensure cost-effective and compliant maintenance, and analyzing asset performance data to inform reliability improvements.
You will lead continuous improvement initiatives, identify failure patterns and risks, and ensure assets are utilized efficiently throughout their lifecycle. Preparing reports and performance summaries for senior management on reliability initiatives is also key.
Successful candidates will demonstrate strong leadership, management skills, and experience in analyzing, designing, operating, maintaining, or managing assets. Knowledge of electrical, ICA, and mechanical assets, as well as familiarity with Reliability Analysis Techniques (RCM, FMECA), and exposure to reliability-focused strategies are essential.
Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills are required. The role supports the transition from reactive to planned maintenance, aiming to develop a reliability-centered maintenance team during the next investment period, AMP 8.
