Job summary
USG is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform basic and advanced electrical tasks, install or modify circuitry, and measure, cut, and install wiring and conduit systems. You will replace breakers, fuses, switches, drives and wiring as necessary, test equipment, and troubleshoot electrical components.
Observing OHSA, USG and NFPA 70E regulations, you will also perform mechanical maintenance and ensure safe operation of power transmission, hydraulic and pneumatic systems,
Qualifications
- Prior experience in Manufacturing Electrical or related field.
- Must understand plant safety rules and PPE usage.
- Ability to work in adverse conditions and heights.
- Willingness to pursue additional training if required.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic and advanced electrical maintenance tasks.
- Install or modify circuitry.
- Measure, cut, and install wiring and conduit systems.
- Replace breakers, fuses, switches, drives and wiring as necessary.
- Test and adjust equipment to prevent issues.
- Troubleshoot or replace electrical components as needed.
- Observe OHSA, USG and NFPA 70E regulations.
- Perform minor mechanical maintenance as needed.
- Troubleshoot and repair power/ hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Maintain safe, clean work environment and comply with OSHA/USG standards.
