University College London invites applications for a Research Fellow to join the 3DTreePrint project within ARIA's Resilient Climate and Ecosystems seed route. The role focuses on integrating low-cost LiDAR with automated workflows to produce scalable 3D tree measurements and ecosystem fingerprints.

The successful candidate will hold a PhD in a relevant field, demonstrate strong Python/C++ skills and collaborate with partners including Forest Research and Forestry England.

Qualifikationen

• PhD required in a relevant field with substantial computational work.
• Experience processing point-cloud data from terrestrial/mobile LiDAR in vegetated environments.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++, able to read/modify existing open-source code.

• Develop and apply LiDAR workflows and algorithms; contribute to scalable pipelines.
