Prototype Projects is looking for a hands-on3D Print Team Leaderto oversee the daily operation of our industrial 3D printing department.

Working with SLA,PSLA,SLS, DLP and Micro-SLA technologies, you'll be responsible for keeping production running efficiently, ensuring our machines are maintained and that customer orders are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.

This is a practical, technically focused role combining production planning, machine management and supervision of a small team.

Salary:

£35,000–£40,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Hours:

Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Location:

Royston, Hertfordshire, UK

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily CAD verification, build preparation and production scheduling.
• Manage the operation, maintenance and performance of our 3D printing equipment.
• Supervise and support 3D printing operatives, providing guidance and training.
• Work closely with our RP Workshop Team to maintain a smooth production workflow.
• Manage materials, consumables and relationships with equipment and material suppliers.
• Maintain high standards of quality, health and safety, and housekeeping.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste and prevent production issues.
