Job summary

Criterion Capital is seeking a Surveying Site Engineer to support development of in-house 3D scanning capability across projects in Prime Central London. You will perform high-accuracy 3D laser scans, process point clouds and coordinate with Revit modelling teams to deliver coordinated BIM data.

The role requires 2+ years in surveying/geomatics with practical 3D scanning experience; degree in Building Surveying/Geomatics/Civil Engineering is desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' surveying/geomatics experience with 3D laser scanning.
• Degree in Building Surveying, Geomatics or Civil Engineering is desirable.
• Experience with 3D laser scanning equipment (Leica/NavVis/Faro/Trimble).
• Experience with point cloud processing and registration software.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 3D laser scanning surveys of existing buildings, structures and MEP installations.
• Plan surveys to achieve required accuracy and tolerances.
• Establish survey control using GPS/GNSS and total station integration.
• Set up registration targets and ensure accurate registration across scanning positions.
• Coordinate site access and survey arrangements with contractors and project stakeholders.
• Process and register point cloud data; review for accuracy before downstream use.
• Review deliverables with external scanning and processing contractors.
