Job summary

Pure Resourcing Solutions Limited is supporting a leading engineering and manufacturing business seeking a CAD Technician to join their Design team. The role focuses on 3D CAD development using Inventor or SolidWorks and delivering precise technical drawings.

You will produce drawings, bills of materials, and support projects from concept to manufacture, collaborating with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure on-time, accurate design delivery and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience using Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar 3D CAD software.
• Engineering or manufacturing industry experience.
• Experience producing technical drawings and Bills of Materials.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Positive attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• ERP system knowledge would be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Producing approval, fabrication, and construction drawings.
• Creating and maintaining Bills of Materials.
• Supporting customer-specific design projects from concept through to manufacture.
• Working closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure accurate design delivery.
• Using Autodesk Inventor and other CAD tools to develop efficient design solutions.
• Supporting continuous improvement and Design for Manufacture initiatives.
