Job summary

The Best Connection Group - Manchester are currently recruiting a CAD Engineer for our client, a fast-growing and highly respected company within the IT industry based in Trafford Park. This role focuses on bespoke engineering projects and the development of edge computing solutions.

You will create and maintain product designs, manufacturing drawings and BoMs, and complete technical documentation to support production.

Qualifications

• Experience using SolidWorks or SolidEdge for 3D CAD design.
• Strong mechanical design understanding and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with BoMs and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain product designs.
• Produce manufacturing drawings and BoMs.
• Complete technical documentation while supporting production.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across the business.
