Job summary

Enisca Browne, part of Browne Group, seeks a Senior BIM/CAD Technician to lead digital design on major water and wastewater projects. You will drive BIM implementation, coordinate inputs, and manage a team to deliver integrated 3D models and designs.

You will champion BIM standards, oversee clash detection and design reviews, and ensure outputs meet regulatory and client expectations while working on-site at least three days per week.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in CAD/BIM design, with leadership roles in water/infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record delivering large water/wastewater schemes using BIM workflows.
• Experience developing and implementing BIM standards and workflows.

Job description

We’re looking for a Senior BIM / 3D CAD Technician to take a leading role within our Design Team, driving the implementation and coordination of BIM and 3D CAD processes across major water and wastewater treatment projects. In this position, you’ll oversee the development of high-quality 3D models and digital designs while managing a team of BIM/CAD technicians, ensuring every output meets project, technical, regulatory, and client expectations. You will champion BIM standards, coordinate multidisciplinary inputs, support clash detection and design reviews, and maintain the integrity of design data throughout the project lifecycle. With advanced expertise in digital design tools, you will guide the team in producing accurate, efficient, and integrated models that enhance collaboration, innovation, and holistic project delivery. Please note that this role requires you to be in the office or on site at least 3 times a week.

We’re seeking an experienced leader with deep technical knowledge of BIM and CAD tools, paired with strong coordination skills and the ability to inspire a digital design team. You should thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment and be passionate about improving workflows, driving best practice, and delivering exceptional digital models for complex engineering projects.

• 10+ years' experience in CAD/BIM design, including leadership or management roles within water or infrastructure sectors.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale water or wastewater projects using advanced BIM/3D modelling workflows.
• Expertise with BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks) and CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD), including clash detection and model coordination.
• Significant experience developing and implementing BIM standards and workflows.
• Strong knowledge of relevant industry regulations, standards, and digital design requirements.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline, or substantial equivalent industry experience.
