Job summary

Norse Contracts Ltd is seeking a deep drainage gang for a project in Nottingham. Work involves deep excavation drainage, shoring, and installation of manholes, connections, and trench boxes to ensure safe operations.

The crew will handle lifting, placement, backfill, and reinstatement on site. Applicants must present proven deep drainage gang experience, valid CSCS cards for all members, and CPCS/NPORS 360 Excavator tickets where required, plus Sling/Signaller certification and up-to-date

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a deep drainage gang
• Experience with shoring/trench boxes in deep excavations
• Valid CSCS cards for all gang members
• CPCS or NPORS 360 Excavator ticket for the operator
• Lifting operations ticket (Slinger/Signaller) for the pipe layer
• Safety critical medicals in date for all gang members

The gang:

• Pipe Layer
• 360 Excavator Operator
• Groundworker

The job:

Deep drainage around a new industrial unit. Excavations are deep and need shoring/trench support, so the gang must have experience working safely in supported deep excavations.

What the work involves:

• Digging and laying drainage runs to line and level
• Installing manholes, chambers and connections
• Installing and removing shoring/trench boxes
• Lifting and placing pipes, manhole rings and materials
• Backfilling and reinstatement

What you need:
