Acorn Recruitment is seeking an experienced 360 Grab & Wheeled Loading Shovel Operator for a Cardiff-based role. The position is temporary to permanent with PAYE, offering a 4 on, 4 off, 12-hour shift pattern at a busy recycling facility.

Operators will handle Sennebogen material handlers and wheeled loaders, maintaining safety and site procedures. Temporary to permanent prospects exist for the right candidate with overtime opportunities.

Competenze

• Material Handlers and Wheeled Loading Shovels experience in recycling or similar facilities.
• UK driving licence is required.
• 360 Wheeled Excavator / Wheeled Loading Shovel experience.
• Reliable, proactive and safety-conscious approach.
• Able to work 40-60 hours per week, including potential overtime.

Mansioni

• Conduct pre-start checks and ensure machinery is safe and operational.
• Operate Sennebogen, Fuchs and Liebherr material handlers or similar safely and efficiently.
• Operate wheeled loading shovels and wheeled 360 excavators in line with site procedures.
• Work to established protocols while adhering to safety rules.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Comply with site health, safety and environmental policies.
• Be prepared for due cause substance testing as required.

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced

Wheeled 360 Material Handler (Sennebogen) and Wheeled Loading Shovel Operator for an ongoing position in

Cardiff.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy

recycling facility, with a permanent contract available for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will operate specialist heavy plant machinery, including

Sennebogen Material Handlers, wheeled loading shovels and wheeled 360 excavators, while working to established site procedures and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
