Job summary

Smart Solutions is hiring a 360 Grab Driver in Hull to support a busy waste management operation on a temporary to permanent basis. The role involves safely moving materials using mobile plant equipment, including FLT with Clamp attachment, 360 Grab and Front-End Shovel Loader, with focus on safety and effective radio communication on site.

The ideal candidate will hold an in-date FLT licence with Clamp attachment; additional licences for 360 Grab/Excavator or Shovel Loader are preferred but not

Qualifications

In-date FLT licence with Clamp attachment is essential.
Preferred: in-date 360 Grab/Excavator licence and Shovel Loader licence.
Experience in waste management is advantageous; training provided where needed.

Responsibilities

Safely operate mobile plant and material handling equipment
Move and distribute loose and baled materials safely and efficiently
Operate FLT with Clamp attachment
Operate 360 Grab and Front-End Shovel Loader where trained
Carry out daily equipment checks and report any faults
Maintain clear communication with site staff via radio
Follow all site health, safety and environmental procedures
Keep work areas clean and safe
Work effectively as part of a team
