Job summary

Red Sky Personnel Ltd is recruiting an experienced 360 Excavator Operator for a long-term heavy civil engineering project at Heathrow Airport Terminal 2. You will operate a 23T wheeled excavator on heavy civils works, including deep excavations of approximately 6 metres, sheet piling, cofferdam excavation, concrete and drainage work.

The role requires a CPCS Card, Lifting Ops, a valid Safety Critical Medical, and a Full UK Driving Licence, with prior experience on similar-sized wheeled

Qualifications

• CPCS Card is required to operate the plant.
• A valid Lifting Ops qualification is preferred.
• A valid Safety Critical Medical is required.
• A full UK driving licence is essential.
• Experience operating similar 23T wheeled excavators is needed.
• Experience in heavy civils / deep excavation is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 23T wheeled excavator on site.
• Work around deep excavations of approximately 6m.
• Carry out excavation and earthworks.
• Work around sheet piling and cofferdam works.
• Assist drainage and concrete activities.
• Carry out lifting operations as required.
• Work safely within a live Heathrow airside environment.
• Follow RAMS, permits and site safety procedures.

Rate: £23.00 per hour PAYE CIJC

Red Sky Personnel is recruiting an experienced 360 Excavator Operator for a long-term heavy civil engineering project at Heathrow Airport Terminal 2.

The role will involve operating a 23T wheeled excavator on heavy civils works, including deep excavations of approximately 6 metres, sheet piling, cofferdam excavation, concrete and drainage works.

Duties will include:

• Operating a 23T wheeled 360 excavator
• Working around deep excavations of approximately 6m
• Excavation and earthworks
• Working around sheet piling and cofferdam works
• Supporting drainage and concrete activities
• Carrying out lifting operations as required
• Working safely within a live Heathrow airside environment
• Following RAMS, permits and site safety procedures

Requirements:

• CPCS Card
• Lifting Ops
• Valid Safety Critical Medical
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Previous experience operating similar-sized wheeled excavators
• Previous heavy civils / deep excavation experience

Airside Security Requirements:

Due to this position being based airside at Heathrow Airport, successful candidates must be able to meet the required airside security and pass requirements.

Candidates must be able to:

• Provide a continuous and fully checkable 5-year employment / education history
• Provide satisfactory references covering the required 5-year period
• Complete the required criminal record / DBS checks
• Provide all required identification and Right to Work documentation
• Successfully complete Heathrow airside security clearance
• Complete the required Heathrow/site induction before starting
