Job summary

Matchtech in Rugby is seeking a skilled 360 Excavator Operator for an active tunnelling project on shaft works. You will operate a 360 excavator on site in a busy underground environment.

The contract runs from 5 October 2026 to 28 December 2026. Applicants must hold a valid 360 ticket and have proven experience in shaft/tunnelling projects, with a strong focus on health and safety.

We are currently looking for an experienced 360 Excavator Operator to join an active tunnelling project in Rugby, working on shaft works.

Requirements:

• Valid 360 Excavator ticket
• Proven experience operating a 360 excavator
• Previous experience working on shaft or tunnelling projects
• Comfortable working within an active tunnelling environment
• Experience working around deep excavations and shaft operations
• Strong understanding of site health and safety procedures
• Relevant site tickets and qualifications
• Reliable and able to commit to the full duration of the project
