Job summary

Trident Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller in Portsmouth, offering a day shift with flexible start/finish times as long as core hours and 40 hours are met. You will program, set and operate 3-axis CNC milling machines, primarily Hurco, and manufacture precision components while reading drawings and inspecting tolerances.

Qualifications

Experience as CNC Miller / CNC Milling Programmer Setter Operator.
Strong 3-axis milling experience.
Experience programming CNC machines.
Hurco WinMax programming knowledge is highly beneficial.
Ability to read technical/engineering drawings.
Confident use of measuring equipment.
A strong precision engineering background.

Responsibilities

Programming, setting and operating 3-axis CNC milling machines.
Working primarily with Hurco machinery.
Programming at the machine using Hurco WinMax controls.
Manufacturing precision-engineered components.
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Carrying out tool changes, offsets and machine adjustments.
Inspecting finished components to ensure tolerances.
Working independently to produce high-quality components.
